A major road accident has taken place in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Seven people have been killed in the accident. Not only that, more than 25 people were also injured. The incident is said to have taken place on the Moradabad-Agra highway. The accident was reportedly caused by fog. The accident took place between a bus and a truck on the Hussainpur bridge in Kundarki area. At least 10 people have been killed and more than 25 injured.
Even in late January, fog and cold are not taking hold in northern India. Cold wave and fog are major causes of accidents in many states, including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Visibility is getting very low due to fog, which is also affecting the speed of the train. Temperatures are below normal in most states of northern India.
According to the meteorological department, most parts of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim are shrouded in thick fog. While Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Odisha have light to moderate fog.
