An important announcement made by Nitin Patel for farmers and pastoralists

 Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that the state government has decided to provide Narmada water through Narmada canals, Fatewadi, Sujalam Sufalam, Khari Cut Canal and Sauni scheme till 30.06.2021 so that farmers and pastoralists can get water as per their requirement in the coming summer season.

Announcing this today, the Deputy Chief Minister said that Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam, the lifeline of the state, has stored 123.38 m water level as on 13/05/21. Timely planning is done to make proper use.

He added that in order to meet the water requirement of farmers and pastoralists during the summer season, Narmada Canal will supply water to farmers and pastoralists through Narmada Nir. This water will be provided by the Irrigation Department through Sujalam Sufalam and Sauni scheme wherever it is needed across the state which will benefit the farmers and pastoralists.
